Mexico Visa Application Requirements

Mexico Visa Application Requirements

1. Fill out an application form. Applications can be obtained at the Consular Section.

2. Valid Passport + 1 photocopy (the page where the picture is).

3. One passport size front color picture, without glasses, white background.

4. Proof of your legal status in Belize + 1 photocopy: Belize Immigration entry stamp or Belize residence stamp or Belize permanent resident card, or Belize work permit

5. To fulfill the following minimum financial records:
a. Bank account with a monthly balance, of at least, the equivalent of 300 days of minimum salary in Mexico City during the last 3 months,
OR
b. Letter of at least one year employment or pension with an income of more than the equivalent of 100 days of minimum salary in Mexico City, during the last 3 months.
In order to prove either of the previous conditions, each applicant must include in their application:
a. Original + 1 photocopy of bank statements of the last 3 months + bank letter confirming the number of the account, name(s) of holder(s), balance, and date of opening of the account.
OR
b. Original + 1 photocopy of bank/credit union book of the last 3 months + credit union letter confirming the number of the account, name(s) of holder(s), balance, and date of opening of the account.
OR
c.  Job letter stating your time of employment and salary during the last 3 months + 1 photocopy of the employer´s identification or the person who signs the job letter

6. Payment of the visa fee (BZ$72.63 dollars). No other currency is accepted. Visa for nationals from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua is free

7. In the case of minor’s applications, both parents need to be present when applying and provide birth certificate + 1 photocopy or official
document as proof of parenthood + photocopy.

8. Documents not issued by Mexican or Belizean authorities must be legalized or apostilled.

9. Spouses must provide marriage certificate + 1 photocopy. and original and photocopy of spouse´s ID
